The Supreme Leader of Iran Orders Muslim Countries to Stop Supplying Israel With Energy and Commodities

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, has advised Muslim countries to cut off their energy supplies to Israel because of the latter’s ongoing abuses of human rights in Gaza. Khamenei shared the instructions on his official Twitter account yesterday.

He said that the condemnations of the Israeli atrocities in Gaza by certain Muslim countries were not sincere and therefore not to be regarded as legitimate. He says the best thing that Muslim governments around the world can do is to cut off the Israeli regime’s lifeblood by keeping the Jewish state from getting supply of goods and energy.

He said, “Some Muslim nations just made symbolic statements in international organisations denouncing the crimes of the Zionist authority. This is not appropriate. The primary action required by Muslim states is to cut off the regime’s life support by preventing it from receiving commodities and energy.”

Remember that on October 7, some Hamas fighters assaulted Israel, and as of now, the Gaza war is in its second month. Numerous nations demanded a ceasefire between the two factions, but Israel vowed to keep bombing Palestinian land until all of the hostages were freed.
