President Bola Tinubu has extended condolences to Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, the Lagos State chairman of the All Progressives Congress, on the passing of his wife, Ebunoluwa Esther Ojelabi.
Tinubu mourned with the Ojelabi family and prayed for God’s divine comfort and strength for her loved ones, friends, and associates.
“The loss of a beloved wife and mother is an immeasurable pain that reminds us of the brevity of life. I share in this pain and pray that God would grant the family the fortitude to bear this loss and give the departed peaceful and eternal rest,” Tinubu was quoted as saying by his spokesman, Bayo Onanuga.
Similarly, the Lagos State House of Assembly expressed shock over the death of Mrs Ojelabi.

Mrs Ojelabi reportedly died on Monday.
Ogundipe described the late Ojelabi as not only a devoted wife to the Lagos State All Progressive Congress chairman but also a respected mother and confidant.
“Her support and commitment to women’s development advocacy exemplified her dedication to her community and her family. She was a beacon of strength and inspiration to many.
“As we stand by our dear leader and his family during this trying time, we pray that they find comfort in cherished memories and the love of those around them.
“We pray that God, in His infinite mercy, grant the family the strength to endure this irreparable loss,” he said.
Ogundipe said the Assembly prayed to God to forgive her sins, grant her eternal peace, and comfort all who mourn her departure.
In its reaction, the Lagos chapter of the APC, in a statement by its Spokesman, Mr Seye Oladejo, commiserated with the state chairman on the loss of his wife.
“The entire leadership and membership of the Lagos State APC wish to commiserate with the chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, on the sudden demise of his beloved wife, Mrs Esther Ebunoluwa.

“We send our deepest condolences to members of the immediate family and the political constituents on this extremely tragic loss.
“We pray that the soul of the departed find rest in the Lord and for divine fortitude to bear the loss.
