Tinubu Makes Seven Promises To Nigerians Ahead Of May 29 Inauguration

On Thursday, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the President-elect made seven essential promises to Nigerians ahead of May 29, when he would be officially sworn in as Nigeria’s next president for the next four years.

Vanguard reports that the former Governor of Lagos State was bestowed with the National Honour of Grand Commander of the Order of Federal Republic (GCFR) at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Thursday.

The president-elect, Tinubu thanked the outgoing President, Muhammadu Buhari who bestowed the honor on him for trusting him. He went further to disclose that he understands the implication of the honor and the magnitude of the task ahead of him. “I promise not to disappoint the President, Buhari, and Nigerians, the people he has entrusted into my hands”, he added.

“Mr. President you have done your part, the people have put their trust in me, I will not let them down because I am a kind man who is the beneficiary of their support and goodwill”, Tinubu said.

You don’t have to be anxious, I will run the race well, Tinubu assured Nigerians.

He also promised to ensure perfect headway on security, agriculture, jobs, health, economy, education, health, and power and in all other sectors in the country at large.

The President-elect said the people deserve more than better for how far they have come, hence he will not let them down.
