The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, on Friday, said only God can help the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar and his Labour Party, LP, counterpart, Peter Obi.

He explained that Atiku was playing his last politics while Obi could not become Nigeria’s president.

The popular prophet was reacting to the presidential election petition tribunal judgment which upheld the election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Umahi Commends Otti

The Minister of Works David Umuahi has commended Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, for improved development in the state in just a few months that he has been in office.

Umahi, who was in Abia on Thursday to inspect ongoing federal projects in the state, said even though he is not an apostle of 100 days celebration, Abia residents and indeed the South-East are blessed to have Governor Otti as his handwork is already showing.

“Let me thank you for a lot of improvement that you have done in the state just few months now. I don’t believe in 100 days in office, I don’t believe in two years in office, I believe in working for the people and let the people see what you are doing.

Former RCCG Pastor, Ghandi Laoye Arrives Ogbomoso For Installation As New Soun

A former pastor at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Jesus House, Washington DC, the United States, Prince Afolabi Ghandi Laoye, on Friday, arrived in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, for a ritual rite and installation as the new Soun of Ogbomosoland.

Laoye was selected by Oyo State Governor, Seyin Makinde last week Saturday, to be the new Soun, the traditional stool that has been vacant since Oba Jimoh Oyewunmi Ajagungbade III, joined his ancestors on December 12, 2021.

Laoye arrived in Ogbomoso early in the morning in a private helicopter, which landed at Ogbomoso Grammar School, before moving to the palace.

A Nigerian man who simply identified himself as Jared has accused the Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shaibu of using police orderlies to abduct him before the 2023 general elections.

The man in a video that has gone viral on the Internet, showing how he went to the Nigeria Police Force headquarters in Abuja to submit a petition against the Edo State Commissioner of Police, also accused the Deputy Governor of stealing his gold Daytona wristwatch worth $250,000 during the alleged abduction.
