Today’s Headlines: Wike Describes Amaechi As Failure, Says He Is Not Allowed In Aso Villa, Atiku

Rivers State Governor, Mr. Nyesom Wike has described the former Minister of Transportation Mr. Rotimi Amaechi as a “total failure”.

The governor was speaking at the commissioning of senator John Azuta Mbata House in Port Harcourt on Monday.

Wike challenged the former minister to show the Rivers people what he did for them when he was a minister.

The presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for 2023 election, Atiku Abubakar, will present his policy plans at a Forum of the NiIgerian Guild of Editors on Tuesday.

This was announced in a statement by NGE’s President, Mr. Mustapha Isah, and General-Secretary, Mr. lyobosa Uwugiaren on Sunday.

According to them, the NGE Forum was established as a platform for editors to interrogate presidential candidates on the policy options, they would be presenting to Nigerians as the country prepares for the 2023 general election.

The All Progressives Congress, Anambra State chapter, has sacked its Youth Leader, Innocent Nwanwa.

Nwanwa is a loyalist of the former Minister of Aviation, Stella Oduah, who was also a member of the APC before she defected to the Peoples Democratic Party.

The development, according to sources in the APC, may be an action taken as a result of Oduah dumping the party.
