President-elect Bola Tinubu drops very important message for Nigerians.

President-elect Bola Tinubu, in contrast to the fire-for-fire political messages that have been flying around for days, released a tension-dousing statement on Saturday.

The president-elect, via his Easter message, in a mature manner, appealed to Nigerians to drop ethnic and religious sentiments and begin to live more harmoniously.

Tinubu noted that eschewing rivalries will make it faster to achieve a prosperous country.

The President-elect urged everyone to imbibe the essential message of Christ’s ministry and truly begin to love “our fellow Nigerians as we love ourselves.”

“I send my best wishes to Christians in Nigeria and all over the world who are celebrating Easter this Sunday. As we all enjoy the well-deserved break, I urge every Nigerian to reflect on the priceless sacrifice and limitless love of God for mankind.

As we celebrate, let us also remember our obligation, as God’s children, to love our neighbour, regardless of tongue, faith, and tribe.

Peter Obi won’t leave Nigeria because of pressure — Labour.

The Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council said the party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, will not leave Nigeria, regardless of the pressure being mounted on him.

The Chief Spokesperson, Obi-Datti Campaign Council, Tanko Yunusa disclosed this in a statement on Thursday.

According to the PCC, the pressure being mounted on Obi from some quarters was the handiwork of mischief makers who were bent on derailing him from pursuing justice through the court.

Recall that Obi had on Wednesday said he was being pressured to leave the country with attacks against his person emanating from different quarters.

I paid ‘crazy money’ to rescue my father from kidnappers – Mikel

Former Super Eagles captain, John Mikel Obi, has narrated the behind-the-scene situation that made him pay a ‘crazy amount of money’ to get his dad released by kidnappers.

This happened in 2018, four hours before the Super Eagles’ game against Argentina in Russia.

Mikel received the news that his dad, Pa Michael Obi was kidnapped along with his driver, Ishaya John, on the Markurdi – Enugu road.

The football star despite knowing this, shrugged it off and went on to lead the Super Eagles in what was widely applauded as a high level of patriotism.

In an interview with Dubai Eye 103.8 Sport, Mikel narrated all that went down.
