Transfer: Man Utd to Offer Star Forward Long-term Contract
Manchester United hope to convince forward Marcus Rashford to sign a long-term contract, The Express reports.
The Red Devils will trigger a 12-month extension to the 24-year-old’s deal but hope to tie him to a new five-year one instead.
Rashford has been with Manchester United since he was seven years old. He made his debut for the first team in 2016 in a game against Midtjylland. He scored two goals in that game, and two more in his next game against Arsenal.
Meanwhile, Juventus are looking to sign United goalkeeper David De Gea next summer on a free transfer.
De Gea is out of contract next summer, and he could be leaving United on a free transfer.
According to Calcio Mercato, Juventus could look to sign De Gea next summer. The Italian club haven’t been afraid to deal with Manchester United in the past, most recently signing Paul Pogba, also a free transfer.
