Two football legends who retired at age 41 on Sunday.

It is no longer news that AC Milan and Sweden legendary attacker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic announced his retirement from Football on Sunday night after his side 3-1 victory over Hellas Verona at the San Siro Stadium.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic who didn’t play in the game for AC Milan against Hellas Verona, following an injury ended his footballing career at age 41, despite his AC Milan contract expiring at the end of June.

Aside from Zlatan Ibrahimovic, another player who left football fans in tears after playing in his final football career game at 41 on Sunday was Joaquin Sanchez.

The Spanish La Liga icon and Real Betis captain, Joaquin Sanchez brought down the curtain on his career in an emotional final La Liga game of the season against Valencia at the Benito Villamarin on Sunday.

Joaquin Sanchez who started and finish his senior career at Real Betis also played for other clubs like Valencia, Malaga and Fiorentina.
