When You See Abati, Ask Him Why He Came To See Me, What We Discussed When He Was With The EFCC -Wike

The Governor of Rivers state, Nyesom Wike has called out popular Nigerian journalist, Reuben Abati, accusing him of not having ‘morals’.

According to Governor Wike who spoke to a group of journalists from various TV stations in a brief media chat today, Abati cannot come on TV to speak about other politicians when he himself, ran as deputy to a known drug lord a few years ago.

In his own words as seen on Channels television this morning…

“Who doesn’t know Buruji Kashamu? Abati was his vice governorship candidate. And these are the same people that will come to talk about other politicians in the country. He talks about morals, how dare he even open his mouth to say that? He ran as deputy to a known drug lord and now he’s coming out to talk about people and ask about people. Ask him, when he was in the EFCC, when he came to see me, what did he come to see me for? When you see him, ask him.

“And now, because you have a platform, you begin to talk anyhow. You have the opportunity to say anything you want to say, people don’t have morals. They don’t have, you can have your first class from Harvard, it’s not my business.”
