“Why I Can’t Marry a Nigerian Man” – DJ Cuppy Opens Up

Billionaire heiress and Nigerian disc jockey Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has vowed not to marry a Nigerian.

Naija News reports that she stated this during a recent podcast appearance.

Speaking during the discussion, Cuppy explained that her decision stems from her previous experience with an individual who was more interested in meeting her father than in building a genuine relationship with her.

She stressed that the experience often makes her question the intentions of some men who approach her.

“I can never marry a Nigerian. It’s impossible. The last one I dated was asking me when he could meet my dad. I didn’t even think they liked me. My dad doesn’t even care who I marry; he just wants me to get married. That’s why I’m so happy for Temi and Eazi,” she stated.

Meanwhile, DJ Cuppy has shared details about her dating journey and how it has shaped her present choice of partner.

Naija News reports that she spoke during a chat with ZeZe Millz, where Cuppy explained that she has met and dated different types of men over the years.

According to the 33-year-old, she has explored relationships with men from different backgrounds, including a model, a footballer and even a bus driver.

She said many of these connections came through dating apps, adding that she once paid about £400, which is over ₦700,000, to join one of the platforms.

Cuppy said her mindset about relationships has changed with time, especially after her younger sister, Temi Otedola, got married to singer Mr Eazi

She explained that she is no longer interested in complicated relationships and now prefers a calm and simple partner who works a regular job and stays off social media.

She said, “I’ve dated all kinds of men, but now all I want is a simple 9–5 man with no social media. I once dated a bus driver I met on a dating app that I paid £400 to join.”

Her past relationships have often been in the public eye. She was once engaged to British boxer Ryan Taylor in 2022, but the engagement ended after a short time. She has also been linked to music executive Asa Asika in the past.

Favor As Higher Power?

(The hidden truth)

Some positions in life cannot be held or retained for long if you are not favored. Favor is higher power. You are not the only one desiring, deserving, connected, powerful or qualified. Some positions in life, opportunities, success, achievements, triumphs, selection, approvals, power and position, elevation, patronage, etc, are mainly through favor. Favor is silent, spiritual and higher power. For spiritual guidance, other solutions, call/Whatsapp Dr J.A. Faros on 07030514063. With God, all are possible.
