“Why Should Any Responsible Individual Go To Tribunal When APC Has Captured The Judiciary”

Due to his lack of confidence in the legal system, Dino Melaye, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) candidate in the recently concluded Kogi governorship election, has stated that he will not contest the All Progressives Congress’s (APC) electoral victory on November 11.

In her remarks on Wednesday, Melaye emphasized that ordinary Nigerians no longer turn to the courts as a last choice.

Melaye declared, “The judiciary is no longer the last resort for the common man; it is now a department under the All Progressives Congress.”

Given that the APC now controls the court, why should any responsible person appear before the tribunal? I no longer have any faith at all in the courts.

Recall that APC’s Usman Ododo was declared winner of the governorship election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

According to Daily Post, Ododo defeated Melaye and Social Democratic Party, SDP’s Muri Ajaka to emerge winner.
