Woman Mourns as Boyfriend Dies Following Land Dispute with Best Friend

A Nigerian lady has tearfully cried out online after her boyfriend was allegedly killed by his best friend following a dispute over land.
This was revealed in a post shared on TikTok, where the grieving woman explained that the man she lost had been friends with the alleged attacker for 17 years until they fell out over a land-related issue last year.
According to her, the former friend—who had reportedly been threatening to shoot her boyfriend—suddenly reached out to reconcile.
Despite her warnings, including a troubling nightmare she had, her boyfriend agreed to meet him.
She said they had already reported the friend to the police, stating that “he keeps saying he’ll put a bullet in his skull.”
On the night of the incident, her boyfriend left the house around 11 p.m., after telling her he had a show to attend by 9 p.m., but would stop by to meet his friend.
Tragically, she claimed he was ambushed and shot three times in the chest and once in the shoulder.
In her emotional statement, she said: “It took me a lot of courage to hold my phone and make this video.”
“My man was killed by his friend, someone he called his best friend. His childhood friend. Someone he has been friends with for 17 years because of an issue they have over a land.”
“This issue was since last year and they stopped being friends, not until this year. Two days back, the friend reached out to him that they should meet and settle. I already had a nightmare and told him not to go.”
“We already reported the friend to the police stating he keeps saying he’ll put a bullet in his skull. By 11 p.m., he left his house and told me he was going to see the friend.”
“He said he’s going for a show by 9 p.m. but he would be there by 11. Unknown to him that they’d gang up against him. They shot my man 3 times in his chest, once in his arm.”
As the video circulated on social media, it drew widespread attention and emotional reactions, with many flooding the comment section to share their thoughts and condolences.
