Woman Sets Sights On Guinness World Record With Largest Ever Pot Of Ukodo And Beans

Nigerian chef, Rita Nnagbogu Ifeyinwa set  to embark on Guinness World Record for the largest pot of Ukodo also known as Yam pepper soup and beans.

This follows after Guinness World Records confirmed Hilda Baci’s record-breaking event for the largest pot of jollof rice, held on September 12, 2025, at Eko Hotels and Suites.

Notably, the event was a star-studded affair with prominent figures, including Funke Akindele, who joined Hilda Baci and her team during the preparation.

The record-breaking event is scheduled for September 17, 2025 in Asaba , Delta state.

The record-breaking event is scheduled for next week in Asaba, Delta State, as announced via a Facebook post by Ossai Ovie Success,who revealed ₦20 million has been pledged ahead of the event kickoff.

The post reads,”I just reached out to the CEO of Korrect Logistics Amb Abolo Henshell and the Onishe of Ubulu-Uku Kingdom High Chief Ibori Ubulu. They will be giving her N20M to start preparations. I will be mobilizing more support for her”.
