Women are less corrupt, Peter Obi says

The 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi has said that women are less corrupt than men.

Speaking while being interviewed on Honest Bunch Podcast, Obi said women tend to handle their offices with some level of integrity when appointed than men.

According to Obi, women are also more determined to see that things work and that tasks are delivered when given.

He said, “Women are less corrupt, they are, I can tell you that. They are not as corrupt as men and because they have families, they are determined to see things work.

Speaking further, Obi cited cases that the women in his cabinet during his time as the governor of Anambra state performed well.

“People know that when I was governor, my chief of staff was a woman, my commissioner for education was a woman and my commissioner for planning,” he added.
