Yobe Education Trust Fund Visit Emir Of Fika

As part of efforts to revitalize education, the Yobe Education Trust Fund on Sunday visited the Emir of Fika and Chairman of Yobe State Council of Traditional Rulers, Dr Muhammad Ibn Abali Muhammad Idrissa in Potiskum town.

Briefing the Emir, the Chairman of the Yobe Education Trust Fund, Engr. Mohammed MAK Abubakar thanked the monarch for the warm reception “thank you sincerely with dignity for the support and encouragement to the trust fund, especially during the retreat, you have offered better advice “.

Abubakar revealed that they were in the town to examine the model schools provided in the town by the state government. “We are aware of the demographic state of Potiskum as it is regarded as the fastest growing city, especially the Arikime Primary School which is densely populated”.

According to him, Yobe State Governor declared a state of emergency on the education sector to make improvements, which he explained led to the retreat “where you made good recommendations”.

Reacting, the Emir of Fika and Chairman of Yobe State Council of Traditional Rulers, Dr Muhammad Ibn Abali Muhammad Idrissa appreciated the team for partnering with him to promote the education of the state. “Thank you for the visit, we appreciate what you are doing to revamp the education system in the state, we know the Governor will succeed Insha Allah”.

The Royal Father said that the education sector in Yobe State has suffered set back due to the activities of the insurgents who destroyed the majority of the infrastructure during several attacks on schools, “despite that with your effort you will make an impact in developing the sector.”

He assured to always make himself available to the committee to improve their services and performance to better the education of the state.
