May the glory of God cover the entire earth.
Dear reader, I beg that you never ask God to open your spiritual eyes when you are in a church service. You will see this in any church, when God opens your spiritual eyes.
1. Completely naked Christians.
First, when God opens your spiritual eyes, you will see that some Christians are completely naked. These are the Christians who live in sin. Like Adam and Eve, sin has stripped them of their divine white garments of holiness.
Listen to what our Lord Jesus Christ says to such Christians:
Look, I come like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake and remains clothed, so as not to go naked and be shamefully exposed.
2. Christians dressed in white.
Second, you will see Christians dressed in white garments. These are Christians who value their relationship with God so much that they avoid sin in all its forms.
Listen to what our Lord Jesus Christ says about such Christians:
4 Yet you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes. They will walk with me, dressed in white, for they are worthy.
3. Christians bound in chains.
Additionally, when the Lord opens your spiritual eyes, you will see that some Christians are bound in chains. These are Christians whom God called to serve Him.
But because of worldly pleasures they resigned from their pre-destined divine positions. Also, within this category are Christians who refused to answer God’s call to serve Him.
Listen to what the written word of God says:
6 And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their proper dwelling-these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day.
4. Half-naked Christians.
Furthermore, your spiritual eyes will show you Christians who are half-naked. These are Christians who serve both God and Satan. They are lukewarm Christians. They are neither hot nor cold.
