The governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani, criticized the Defence Headquarters, DHQ, for making a thoughtless comment over the Tudun Biri airstrike.
Remember how the Tudun Biri residents in the state’s Igabi Local Government Area were bombed by an Army drone?
A number of believers in the hamlet celebrating the Maulud holiday perished in the catastrophe.
The Nigerian Army acknowledged the occurrence and insisted that the attack was the result of incorrect intelligence.
Sani, however, stated that further evidence must be gathered to support the Nigerian Army’s assertions that there are terrorists in the area.
According to Daily Post, Sani stated on Friday in an interview with Channels TV that what transpired in Tundun Biri was regrettable and preventable. But the society is at ease because the Chief of Defence Staff accepted accountability. The claim that there are terrorists in the area needs to be confirmed. That was, in my opinion, a really reckless comment.
