3 Arsenal Stars Missing In Training Hours To Manchester City Clash

Arsenal fans have been gripped with panic after three key players missed training hours for their clash against Manchester City.

The Gunners are scheduled to lock horns against reigning champions City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, March 31.

Both teams are expected to miss a couple of key players ahead of the cracker, with the hosts set to be without Kyle Walker and Joh Stones.

According to The Guardian, Pep Guardiola confirmed the duo will play no role in the tie due to various injuries picked during the international break.

Understandably, Arsenal are also sweating over the fitness of a couple of important players as they prepare for the crucial tie.

Metro UK reports that the trio of Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, and Gabriel Magalhaes are major doubts for the Sunday trip.

The publication reports that the three Arsenal players were missing from training as the first-team squad stepped up their preparations for their crunch match.

The trio has been struggling with fitness in recent weeks, with Saka, who is the Gunners’ leading scorer playing no part in England’s international break due to an achilles injury.

Martinelli, meanwhile, had to withdraw from Brazil’s squad this month after sustaining a cut to his foot.

His fellow countryman, Gabriel, also had to pull out of the squad that faced England and Spain through injury.

The Gunners have a one-point advantage over City ahead of the meeting.
