ECOWAS leaders have lifted tariffs imposed on some of their member states on travel.
The move includes the removal of tariffs on goods imported from other member states, airline tickets, and a gas pipeline from Nigeria to Morocco.
Current affairs analysts believe that the move by ECOWAS will help boost the economies of the countries.
The ECOWAS plan to remove tariffs comes after Niger, Mali, and Burkina Faso announced their withdrawal from the West African Economic Community.
