Former Chief of Army Staff and Nigeria’s ambassador to China, Abdulrahman Dambazau, has participated in the fourth Forum on Developing Countries and International Law, reaffirming the country’s commitment to multilateral cooperation and a rules-based international order.

The two-day conference, themed “International Rule of Law and Global Governance: Vision for Sustaining Peace and Advancing Prosperity,” was jointly organised by the Chinese Society of International Law, the Institute of International Law at Wuhan University and the Asian Academy of International Law in Hong Kong.

The Nigerian embassy in Beijing was among the invited participants at the forum, which brought together diplomats, policymakers, legal experts, academics and international affairs specialists from across the world.

The conference examined contemporary challenges confronting the international rule of law and global governance while exploring solutions to promote peace, stability, sustainable development and shared prosperity.

Participants discussed the evolving international order, multilateral cooperation and the role of international law in addressing challenges facing developing countries.

International law scholars and experts from China and other countries also shared perspectives on strengthening global governance frameworks and advancing equitable international cooperation.

During the discussions, Dambazau reiterated Nigeria’s commitment to constructive international engagement and support for a rules-based international system founded on justice, mutual respect, peaceful coexistence and sustainable development.

The Nigerian mission said the ambassador’s participation aligns with the country’s foreign policy objectives of strengthening multilateral partnerships, promoting the interests of developing countries and advancing a more inclusive and balanced global order.

It added that Dambazau’s engagement reflects Nigeria’s commitment to contributing to global conversations on peace, governance, international cooperation and sustainable development.

Favor As Higher Power?

(The hidden truth)

Some positions in life cannot be held or retained for long if you are not favored. Favor is higher power. You are not the only one desiring, deserving, connected, powerful or qualified. Some positions in life, opportunities, success, achievements, triumphs, selection, approvals, power and position, elevation, patronage, etc, are mainly through favor. Favor is silent, spiritual and higher power. For spiritual guidance, other solutions, call/Whatsapp Dr J.A. Faros on 07030514063. With God, all are possible.
