Annie Idibia Clears the Air on Reunion With 2Baba

Nollywood actress Annie Idibia has dismissed reports claiming she has reunited with her estranged husband, music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba.

The actress reacted to the rumours on Monday through a post on her Instagram Stories, describing the reports as false and explaining that the videos circulating online were old.

“Old videos circulating everywhere, false news everywhere,” she wrote.

Speculation about a possible reconciliation began after an old video of the former couple sharing a moment at a nightclub resurfaced on social media on Friday.

The clip quickly went viral, with many social media users suggesting that Annie and 2Baba had rekindled their relationship.

However, Annie’s post has put the speculation to rest, clarifying that the video being shared was not recent.

Recall that Annie and 2Baba, who share two daughters, parted ways in January 2025 after more than a decade of marriage.

The singer has since remarried. He is now married to Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru.
