BREAKING: 14 Senior Police Officers Invited for AIG Promotion Screening

The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has scheduled a promotion examination and interactive session for senior officers seeking elevation to the rank of Assistant Inspectors-General of Police (AIGs).

The exercise is slated for Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at the Police Service Commission (PSC) corporate headquarters in Jabi, Abuja.

According to a police wireless communication circulated by NIGPOL FORSEC Abuja to commands and departments nationwide, the session will begin at 8am.

The interview will take place at the chairman’s conference room on the sixth floor of the PSC headquarters.

Officers are expected to report by 7am for briefing and conveyance to the venue.

The officers invited for the promotion exercise include Christopher Ado Emmanuel, Joseph Eribo, Miller Gajere Dantawaye, Henry Ifeanyi Uche, Olanrewaju Peter Ogunlowo, Mohammed Dahiru, Dankombo Faling Morris, Bello Shehu, Ibrahim Balarabe Maikaba, Ahmed Musa, Olohundare Moshood, Jimoh Simeon, Udofia Akpanudom, and Haruna Oufemi.

All the officers invited currently serve as Commissioners of Police in various commands and units across the country.

The communication also outlined dress code and professional standards for the interview. Officers are required to wear conventional attire, including black jackets, berets, and swagger canes.

The examination will cover areas such as law, local acts, and professional studies. For operational support, the force directed 12 armed officers from the mobile police (MOPOL) unit to provide escort duties.

The transport department has also been directed to provide serviceable vehicles, including two Hilux vans, to convey the officers to and from the venue.

The vehicles are to be on standby at the force headquarters parade ground by 6am.

The directive urged all commands to treat the exercise as “very important” to ensure the smooth conduct of the promotion interviews.

The development comes days after the Police Service Commission promoted seven AIGs to the rank of deputy inspectors-general of police (DIGs).

Favor As Higher Power?

(The hidden truth)

Some positions in life cannot be held or retained for long if you are not favored. Favor is higher power. You are not the only one desiring, deserving, connected, powerful or qualified. Some positions in life, opportunities, success, achievements, triumphs, selection, approvals, power and position, elevation, patronage, etc, are mainly through favor. Favor is silent, spiritual and higher power. For spiritual guidance, other solutions, call/Whatsapp Dr J.A. Faros on 07030514063. With God, all are possible.
