The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has announced the arrest of popular crossdresser Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky.
TheNGblog reported hours ago that the crossdresser had not been detained. According to online reports, the crossdresser was detained on April 3, 2024, at 3 p.m. in Pinnock Estate, Lagos State.
Confirming his arrest, a representative identified as Dele Oyewale exclusively revealed to Linda Ikeji Blog the reason for his arrest. He alleged that the crossdresser had been arrested for currency mutilation and abuse of the Naira.
He revealed that the online sensation is in their Lagos facility and will be charged in court soon.
“He is with us. We arrested him over currency mutilation and abuse of Naira. He is in our facility in Lagos State”, Oyewale said.
Bobrisky is currently the richest crossdresser and one of the richest Instagram influencers in Nigeria, with an estimated net worth of $3 million. His major source of wealth comes from being an Instagram influencer for many skincare, Fashion, and sexual enhancement brands.
