Former Kaduna State First Lady, Hajiya Hadiza El-Rufai, has mourned her late son, Hamza, noting that he would have turned 35 years old today.
According to a media post she shared on Saturday, 14 February 2026, Hajiya Hadiza marked the day with prayers and reflection on the memory of her son.
She prayed for Allah’s forgiveness for his shortcomings and for him to be granted the highest place in Paradise.
“Today would have been my late son’s 35th birthday. May Allah forgive Hamza’s shortcomings and admit him to Jannatul Firdaus,” she wrote.
Her message expressed profound sorrow and a mother’s enduring love, highlighting the deep pain of losing a child while finding solace in faith.
Through her prayers, she sought Allah’s mercy and eternal peace for Hamza.
