BREAKING: “I Laugh When I See Some Childish People Saying They Will Not Join Any Protest Against The Failed Tinubu Govt Because They Voted Their Tribe Man 99% And He Didn’t Win”

Deji Adeyanju, a renowned activist, has castigated videos and publications from a specific ethnic group asserting their refusal to participate in any form of rebellion against President Tinubu’s administration.

In recent days, numerous protests have erupted in key states across the nation, fueled by the severe hardships, insecurity, and hunger stemming from President Tinubu’s governance since his assumption of office as Commander-in-Chief after defeating Peter Obi of the Labour Party and Atiku Abubakar of the PDP in the presidential election around the same time last year, as declared by INEC.

Despite numerous blunders during the campaign season and the failure of the previous APC administration to fulfill its promises of delivering the dividends of democracy, Tinubu garnered 8.9 million votes in the past presidential election conducted by the electoral body, INEC.

In light of the surfaced videos showing Nigerians reacting adversely to the hardships, primarily observed among the people of the South-Western region, the inhabitants of the South-South and South-East regions, who overwhelmingly voted for Obi, have declared unanimously that they will not engage in any form of protest.

Instead, they plan to retaliate in the next three years by casting their votes for Tinubu for a second term to prolong the hardships.

Reacting to this trend, Deji Adeyanju remarked, “When you see some childish people saying they will not join any protest against the failed Tinubu Govt because they voted their tribe man 99% and he didn’t win, you have to laugh out loud. Nobody want you to join any protest, enjoy your Tinubu & go buy fuel for N167.”

However, it is noteworthy that the Yorubas do not deserve such criticism from the people of the South-South and South-east, as Tinubu lost two states, Lagos and Osun, in the South-West to Obi and Atiku Abubakar, respectively.

Furthermore, it is essential to acknowledge that prominent Yoruba figures such as former President Obasanjo, Mr. Macaroni, Falz, Bode George, among others, endorsed Peter Obi’s agenda for a “Better Nigeria.”

The significant question here is whether tribalism is truly necessary at this juncture, and was the election genuinely rigged, or did your preferred candidate lose to Tinubu, who enjoyed broader support from the Yorubas and core northerners?.
