BREAKING: Israel Pulls Troops Out of Gaza

In a recent development, Israel has announced the withdrawal of all its troops from southern Gaza, including the city of Khan Yunis, following months of intense clashes with Hamas militants, as reported by Daily Trust.

The move comes as an important development in the ongoing conflict, leaving the area in devastation.

According to the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), the 98th commando division has completed its mission in Khan Yunis and has left the Gaza Strip to regroup and prepare for future operations.

However, a substantial force, led by the 162nd division and the Nahal brigade, will continue to operate in other parts of the besieged territory to maintain the IDF’s freedom of action.

“The 98th division dismantled Hamas’s Khan Yunis brigades and killed thousands of its members. We did everything we could there,” an army official stated.

Displaced Palestinians from Khan Yunis may now have the opportunity to return to their homes after seeking shelter in the southern city of Rafah, which has not seen the same level of conflict.

Despite the withdrawal from Khan Yunis, the IDF remains prepared to operate in the area as needed, indicating that the situation in Gaza remains fluid and volatile.

The decision to withdraw comes due to international concern and calls for de-escalation in the region.

The conflict in Gaza came due to Hamas attack in October 2023, resulting in huge casualties on both sides.

Israel has faced criticism for its military actions in the region, with calls for a peaceful resolution to the longstanding conflict.
