Award-winning Fuji singer, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, better known as Kwam1, and his beautiful wife, Emmanuella Rope have reacted to rumors of a marital crisis.
Kemi Filani reported that the Fuji singer hinted at a marital crisis after he failed to publicly celebrate his wife on her birthday on January 1st, 2024. This was unlike the Fuji singer and this led many to speculate that the couple had broken up.
Goldmyne TV, in a statement on its Instagram page on behalf of the couple, debunked the rumors as sources close to the couple stated that there is no trouble in paradise for them.
According to the blog, it was a deliberate decision by the lovebirds to avoid celebrating his wife in public as they are strategically maintaining a low profile.
The statement added that the couple is planning to surprise the public with the unveiling of a gigantic multimillion naira business, valued at over N700m, situated on Allen Avenue, Ikeja.
The business is alleged to be a gift from Kwam1 to his wife and it signifies their joint commitment to success and mutual endeavors rather than any marital crisis.
Kwam1 also took to his Instagram page to shut down the report, noting how some ‘lazy minded’ people were gathering unfounded stories just to trend using his name.
The statement didn’t sit well with many who believed the couple were trying to do damage control.

This isn’t the first time the couple has been hit with breakup rumors.
Last year, KWAM1 broke his silence regarding a statement claiming he embarrassed his wife, Emmanuella Ropo, at his surprise birthday dinner.
A statement by Kunle Rasheed, one of the singer’s band members, addressed the issue, claiming the rumors about his master’s marriage were false and unconfirmed pieces of information.
He also claimed that KWAm1’s gesture to his wife’s kiss on his 66th birthday was an ordinary reaction from the singer.
For their first anniversary in 2022, the famous Fuji singer surprised his wife with a diamond ring, which had an illusion of seven pieces.
Emmanuella Ropo shared a clip of the ring on her Instagram page as she appreciated her husband for the priceless, and also recounted how she woke up to see the ring beside her.
Kwam1 ever the romantic lover had also penned a beautiful note to his wife, recounting how he started the journey with her and admitted that the journey hadn’t been easy for them. However, they will continue to weather the storm together.
Recall that Kwam1 and Emmanuella tied the knot in 2021 at a high-profile wedding ceremony that was attended by over 30 traditional monarchs, Nollywood stars, friends, and families.
