BREAKING: Plane With 53 Passengers Suffers Tyre Burst

On Tuesday night, a Max Air aircraft, registered as 5N-MBD, experienced a tyre burst at the Malam Aminu International Airport (MAKIA) in Kano, while carrying 53 passengers.

According to a source close to the airport, the incident occurred during landing at 22:57.

The flight, VM1605, had previously departed from Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMA) in Lagos heading to Kano.

Fortunately, all passengers were evacuated safely from the aircraft without any major injuries reported.

It is believed that the aircraft may have lost a tyre from its nose landing gear upon landing, resulting in this serious incident.

As of the time of this report, no officials from the airline could be reached for comment.
