Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has approved the appointment of eight new permanent secretaries in the state.
The appointees include Gbolahan Oki, the General Manager of the Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA), and seven other civil servants who have demonstrated exceptional performance in their current roles.
The governor’s decision, made public through a statement by the Head of Service, Bode Agoro, is aimed at rewarding excellence and promoting deserving officers who have contributed significantly to the success of the state government’s agenda, THEMES plus.
The newly appointed permanent secretaries will be responsible for implementing policies and programs that drive the state’s development.
The other appointees are Dr. Abiola Idowu, Aderinsola Olanrewaju, Tajudeen Mahmud, Wasiu Agbabiaka, Adebayo Olayinka, Ajibike Onigbanjo, and Olanrewaju Bajulaiye.
Their appointments take effect immediately, and they are expected to bring their expertise and experience to bear in their new roles.
