The price of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s son’s wristwatch was made public by Omoyele Sowore, the African Action Congress’ (AAC) 2023 presidential candidate. This came after Wake Edun, the finance minister and coordinating minister of the economy, claimed that just 5% of Nigerians had more than N500,000 in their bank accounts.
Revealing the price of Seyi Tinubu wrist watch after Wale Edun said only 5% of Nigerians has over N500k in their bank accounts, Omoyele Sowore tweeted: “Only 5% of Nigerians have only N500,000 in their bank accounts – Tinubu’s Finance Minister, Wale Edun meanwhile, Seyi Tinubu @STinubu’s watch is N346,000,009. Justice for all just ain’t specific enough!”
This tweet from Omoyele Sowore has attracted reactions from Nigerians and social media users, as some have asked Sowore how much he has in his account, while some have claimed they would have done the same if they were in Seyi Tinubu’s shoes.
