BREAKING: The older generation doesn’t understand that the people online are as powerful as the people they are looking at physically in their churches — According to Pastor Sam Adeyemi

In a video posted on his official Facebook page, Pastor Sam Adeyemi, the founder and senior pastor of Daystar Christian Center, located in Oregun, underlined the ways in which the younger generation is treated in society. The cleric has criticized the constant state of neglect and deprivation they endure.

From 0:01 to 0:43 in the video, the cleric states, “We practically obliterate the younger generation by not allowing them to speak soon enough or valuing them.” Because we hold onto our views for too long, we erode the succession debate. People sometimes distance themselves from the younger generation because their demands have changed, which is a really bad thing.”

As revealed by the cleric; ” for example, the older generation nowadays do not understand nor get the ways of the Gen-Z generation at all. These are generations born practically with phones in their hands and with technology to go by. The older generation doesn’t understand that the people online are as powerful as the people they are looking at physically in their churches. That is the mistake the older generation is making. As at the time they were supposed to be coaches, they are still struggling as players. The younger generation must not be taken for granted; they are powerful and are at the centre of solutions and development.”
