Call of Duty Mobile is embracing the spooky season with the launch of Season 9 on October 14, 2026, introducing a supernatural battle between vampires and werewolves alongside new weapons, events, rewards, and gameplay modes.
The new season centres on the Fang War, which challenges players to choose between the vampire and werewolf factions and complete missions to help their chosen side claim victory. Players can earn a variety of faction-themed rewards, including the SO-14 – Moonlit Marksman rifle and the Type-25 – Lone Wolf assault rifle.
Call of Duty Mobile Season 9: Vampires vs Werewolves
The Fang War isn’t the only major attraction arriving with Season 9. Call of the Dead will also form part of the seasonal content, bringing a celebration inspired by Mexico’s Day of the Dead festival.
Players will be able to collect special event currency and exchange it for rewards, including an exclusive Operator Skill skin.
The season will also introduce the Vampires Vs Werewolves Battle Pass, adding more horror-themed content for players to unlock throughout the season.
Call of Duty Mobile Season 9 will also feature the return of playlists from previous Street Fighter and Honkai Impact 3rd collaborations, giving players another opportunity to revisit content from the popular crossover events.
Leader’s Kill Confirmed Adds a New Twist
Another notable addition is Leader’s Kill Confirmed, a new variation of the classic Kill Confirmed multiplayer mode.
Instead of collecting dog tags from every eliminated opponent, players must target the designated leader of the opposing team and collect their tags. The leader role changes whenever the current leader is eliminated, creating a constantly shifting objective and adding another layer of strategy to the familiar game mode.
With the Fang War, horror-themed Battle Pass, Call of the Dead event, returning collaborations and the new Leader’s Kill Confirmed mode, Call of Duty Mobile Season 9 is shaping up to be one of the game’s biggest seasonal updates.
Players can jump into the new content when Season 9 launches on October 14, 2026.
