Davido finally replies Dammy Krane over alleged debt

Award-winning music star, Davido has finally replied his colleague, Dammy Krane over allegations that he owes him.

Kemi Filani reported two days back that Dammy Krane, who claims that the singer owed him after their hit collaboration on his song, ‘Pere’ had appealed to the billionaire musician to pay him his debt for his daughter’s sake.

He begged him to at least consider his daughter, whose school fees need to be paid.

Taking to the micro-blogging platform, Twitter now known as X, Davido slammed him for the allegations as he noted how he also never got paid for the 3 verses he sang on Dammy Krane’s song 9 years ago.

He recounted how he housed the singer in Atlanta when he was homeless and also fed up all through his stay.

“I never got paid for that. Also, my 3 verses I’ve gifted you all your dead career. Oh yea plus my royalties, we charge now so that’s about $150k x3 a verse, also house rent and food when u stayed in my house in Atlanta when you were homeless”.

Davido’s reply has caused a stir online with many slamming Dammy Krane for being ungrateful.

One Sharon Plang wrote, “But if you accommodated someone when they didn’t have a home. Is it a reason to not pay them for a job they did

One Inumidun wrote, “Another angle, so now it’s silence from Dammy forthwith

One Hrh King Diamond wrote, “Ow owe one indeed. It would have been better to keep quiet

One Re Wade Worldwide wrote, “U see because he didn’t say anything since I guys will believe the other side. This is why it’s good to hear from both sides

One The Kiki wrote, “Dammy Krane bring receipt come out. You can’t be calling someone like owe be owe out and you don’t have receipt

One Elisha Jboy wrote, “It really pays to be wicked. Human beings will always be ungrateful. They will always forget the many times u did them good but hold on to the one time u did bad to them. Stay wicked it goes a long way and it is the best”.

Recall that last year, Dammy Krane had claimed that Davido was yet to pay him for their then-hit song, Pere.

Dammy Krane revealed that he had reached out to the singer over the years but he didn’t get a response from him. He added that he didn’t desire to call out the singer publicly.

Taking their fight to the extreme, Dammy Krane released an official portrait of the 30BG, mocking them.

He had also dragged colleague, Tekno into their fight questioning if Davido wasn’t indebted to him.

In a surprising twist of event, Dammy had alleged that Davido had sent his guys to beat him up and had shared photos as evidence.
