Details Surface After Atiku’s High-Profile Meeting With Dele Momodu in Abuja

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has met with ally and the publisher of Ovation International, Dele Momodu, at his residence in Abuja.

Momodu shared details and photographs of the afternoon meeting on his social media platform, X, indicating that their discussions centered on national issues and political strategies.

“H.E. Atiku Abubakar this afternoon met with Aare Dr. Dele Momodu at his residence in Abuja. As always, the conversation was centred on Nigeria’s progress and the shared commitment to nation-building. The work never stops.”

The meeting comes days after Atiku’s emergence as the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

With the primary concluded, the former Vice President has turned his attention to selecting a running mate for the 2027 general elections.

The search for a vice-presidential candidate is unfolding during a period of reorganization within Nigeria’s opposition spaces, which have split into separate factions following the collapse of talks to form a single, united front against President Bola Tinubu.

The search parameters shifted following the exit of key political figures who were initially expected to form a joint ticket. Peter Obi, who briefy aligned with the ADC, left the coalition to pick up the presidential nomination under the newly formed Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC).

In recent public statements, Obi ruled out serving as a running mate on any ticket, expressing his intention to contest strictly at the top of the ballot. This development has left the opposition fragmented, resembling the multi-party division of the 2023 electoral cycle.

Given that a northern Muslim leads the ADC ticket, party insiders and analysts indicate that Atiku is looking toward the southern geopolitical zones—specifically the South-East, South-South, or South-West—to balance the ticket.

The South-East, in particular, has historically served as an electoral base for Atiku, who selected Peter Obi as his running mate in 2019 and former Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa in 2023.

Favor As Higher Power?

(The hidden truth)

Some positions in life cannot be held or retained for long if you are not favored. Favor is higher power. You are not the only one desiring, deserving, connected, powerful or qualified. Some positions in life, opportunities, success, achievements, triumphs, selection, approvals, power and position, elevation, patronage, etc, are mainly through favor. Favor is silent, spiritual and higher power. For spiritual guidance, other solutions, call/Whatsapp Dr J.A. Faros on 07030514063. With God, all are possible.
