According to Bola Tinubu, he is proud of himself for both running in the 2023 presidential election and coming out on top, as well as for being able to effectively defend his victory in court.
In a video released by TVC, Tinubu made this claim while addressing his cabinet. Additionally, he exhorted them to put aside their own goals and commit to the development of Nigeria. He asserted that real pride can only be attained via unselfish dedication. He also expressed his gratitude to each member of his cabinet for their significant contributions and commitment.
In Tinubu’s words: “I am your friend, your brother, a father and grandfather. We must put aside personal ambitions and focus on the progress of our nation. It is through these that we can be truly proud. I am proud standing before you, I am very proud of every one of you. I am proud of myself, I went for election and I won, they took me to court, and I won again”.
