Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye has become the subject of intense transfer speculation this summer.
The Nigerian shot-stopper enjoyed a brilliant campaign with Udinese this past season, keeping ten clean sheets in 30 appearances and cementing his status as one of Serie A’s most promising goalkeepers.
Okoye has also flourished on the international stage; in the absence of Stanley Nwabali, he has stepped up for the Super Eagles, delivering a series of top-tier performances, especially in the last two games against Poland and Portugal.
Consequently, rumours regarding a potential departure from Udinese have intensified.
Although former Italian champions Juventus were initially linked with the goalkeeper as they sought to revamp their squad, they have yet to submit a formal bid. It now appears that the Bianconeri are not the only club interested in his services.

According to Eagle Media, Okoye has emerged as a key target for 16-time Turkish Süper Lig champions, Beşiktaş.
The Black Eagles are currently looking to build a formidable squad for manager Vincenzo Italiano to ensure they can challenge for major titles next season.
Last season, they conceded 40 goals in the League, so strengthening the goalkeeping department is a top priority for the club, and Okoye is viewed as an ideal candidate to provide that boost.
His ability to produce clutch saves, coupled with his composure in possession and authoritative presence at the back, makes him a highly attractive prospect.
Udinese appear open to negotiations and have reportedly already begun scouting potential replacements. While Okoye is currently valued at €10 million on Transfermarkt, Udinese may demand a significantly higher fee, given that the 26-year-old has two years remaining on his contract.
