Peter Obi Joins Muslim Community for Ramadan Break Fast in Kano

Peter Obi, Labour Party’s Presidential for the 2023 General Elections, partook in the evening meal to break fast with Muslim worshippers in Kano State on Monday.

Obi graced the Sheikh Jibril Umar Jibril Mosque, affectionately known as Triumph Mosque, situated in the Fagge Local Government Area.

Arriving mere moments before the fast-breaking time, the Presidential contender expressed his delight in sharing the moment with the Muslim faithful.

“I am honoured to break fast together and grateful to be among you,” Obi remarked. “Unity transcends religious or ethnic affiliations, and it’s imperative that we stand together as one people.”

During his visit, Obi conveyed his aspirations for national prosperity, stating, “May our prayers during this auspicious month of Ramadan be answered. As Nigerians, let us unite in prayer for our beloved nation.”

Prior to his mosque visit, Obi paid respects at the Emir of Kano’s palace, further showcasing his commitment to engaging with diverse communities across the nation.
