Track star Sha’Carri Richardson bagged an historic deal with a multi-billion dollar company, joining NBA player Anthony Edwards.
Sha’Carri Richardson keeps smiling to the bank as the world’s fastest woman has secured another mouth-watering endorsement deal with the Coca-Cola brand – Sprite.
Thirty years after its initial debut, Sprite is making a comeback with ‘Obey Your Thirst’ campaign, featuring NBA star Anthony Edwards, Grant Hill (who starred in the original spot), and world 100m champion Richardson.
The track star becomes the first female athlete in history signed to an endorsement with the multi-billion dollar brand, and it’s the latest of her multiple deals announced this season.
Richardson has now either led campaigns or signed ambassadorial deals with multiple brands this year, which are Whoop, Android, Nike x Jacquemus, and Nike Air Max Dn launch.
The world 100m champion is now the most endorsed US track athlete and one of the most influential sports stars in the world.
She will be gunning to begin her track season’s debut with a fast time at the Xiamen Diamond League on April 20th, in preparation for another iconic outing at the Paris Olympic Games.
