BREAKING: A Gov Of Rivers Said If Jonathan Runs We Are Violating The Agreement Between South & North -Wike

FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has accused ADC vice-presidential candidate Rotimi Amaechi of abandoning the very principle he once championed that power must rotate between the North and South. Speaking in a media coverage by Channels TV, Wike recalled Amaechi’s position during the 2015 APC campaign, “A one-time governor of Rivers State said that we must obey the conventional agreement between the South and the North, and that if the former president ran, it means that we are violating the unwritten agreement between the South and the North.

And he was happy.

He said history will remember him for having led a campaign that removed a sitting president, and secondly made sure that the unwritten agreement between the North and South stood firm,” Wike said.

He said that record of conviction makes Amaechi’s current position all the more difficult to defend. “Now we are asking the question, what has now happened? Are you not going to stand for the same principle?” Wike asked.

The minister also questioned the reliability of the former Vice President Atiku Abubakar. Wike said Atiku’s political inconsistency makes it impossible to take his commitments seriously.
