Nigeria singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has promised donations of N300m to orphanages across the country.
The artist via his social media accounts on Tuesday disclosed the act was his yearly contribution to the nation which he began in 2021.
He said, “I and my foundation pledge the sum of 300 million Naira to orphanages around Nigeria, as my yearly contribution to the Nation, details of disbursement tomorrow.”
Fans of the music star have applauded him for his donations. One fan said, ‘God bless your heart, KING DAVID!’
Another said, “Davido has been giving to the orphanage a long time ago, it didn’t start today. God bless him abundantly.”
Recall the artist in November 2021 donated N250 million to 292 Nigerian orphans and In July 2023, he also donated N237 Million to 424 Orphanages across Nigeria.
