Nigerian artiste Rema is set to perform at the UK’s most prestigious music awards show, the BRIT Awards.
The organizers announced this news on Thursday morning via their social media page.
The announcement post read, “Stay calm; @heisrema will be performing at the #BRITs 2024. Let’s gooooooo,”
Rema will follow in the footsteps of Burna Boy, who performed at the awards event in 2018, marking him as the next Nigerian musician to play at the BRITs.
Rema’s song “Calm Down” has been nominated for the coveted International Song of the Year category at the 2024 Brit Awards.
Nigerian artistes Burna Boy and Asake were further nominated in the star-studded International Artist of the Year category.
The 2024 BRIT Awards is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 2.
