Speaking on the issue, Ebuka Obi questioned the loyalty of some women, arguing that a man’s efforts to train or support a woman do not necessarily guarantee that she will eventually marry him.
In his words:
“The fact remains that some of the girls you are training now will end up not marrying you. They will marry someone who has made it further in life than you. Women of this generation don’t care anymore. The only thing that will make a woman stand by you is if you have something she doesn’t have.”
His statement has drawn attention to the challenges some men face when investing in relationships, particularly when their expectations of marriage do not align with those of their partners.
