Nollywood actress and politician Doris Ogala had earlier confirmed Blessing CEO’s release through a video call shared on social media.
“Blessing CEO is finally out; thank you, Jesus,” Ogala wrote on her Instagram page on Saturday.
Why Blessing CEO Was Detained
Blessing CEO’s release comes after months in detention over three separate fraud-related cases filed against her by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The influencer was arraigned in June 2026 over allegations involving property transactions and donations reportedly collected after she claimed to be battling stage four breast cancer.
The cases involve alleged sums of ₦36 million, ₦69.15 million and ₦13 million.
Blessing CEO pleaded not guilty to the charges. The allegations remain subject to the legal process.
Blessing CEO Speaks on Son’s Death
In a related development, Blessing CEO confirmed the death of her second son, Bryan Onyedikachi, who reportedly died while she was still in detention.
Following the development, she denied authorising anyone to solicit financial assistance on her behalf.
Blessing reportedly made the clarification during a phone conversation with Doris Ogala, denying that she had given Amira Agiye permission to announce her son’s death.
She also denied soliciting financial assistance to meet her bail conditions, insisting that she was the appropriate person to communicate news about her son’s death and personal circumstances.
Her release and the developments surrounding her son’s death have drawn attention on social media, with IVD’s celebratory post adding to the reactions surrounding the influencer’s return from detention.
