Leeds United sealed a 2-1 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford last night, but it was Noah Okafor’s name that shone under the lights at the Theatre of Dreams.
Michael Carrick’s side hadn’t played a Premier League game in 25 games heading into the clash against Leeds, but they were shell-shocked five minutes into the game.
Okafor broke the deadlock, ghosting in at the far post to slot home after a ricochet off Leny Yoro deflected into the attacker’s path, giving Daniel Farke’s side hopes of a Premier League stay.

Aaronson then heads the ball into Okafor’s path, and the Swiss lashed a 20-yard volley back towards goal, and a wicked deflection off Yoro took the ball past Lammens and into the bottom corner.
Things went from bad to worse after Lisandro Martinez was given his marching orders for pulling Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s hair in the 56th minute.
Casemiro pulled one back for the record English Premier League Champions, but Leeds held on to claim all three points, pushing them into 15th on the league table, six points above the relegation zone.
