Socialite and ex-girlfriend of Nigerian artist Asake, Madame Mystique, has disclosed the reasons for their breakup.
Mystique said that she split up with the “Lonely At The Top” singer because he wanted to let the “devil use him” in response to an inquisitive fan on her Instagram page.
The fan wrote, “Why did you break our national sweetheart’s heart? Our Asake.”
She replied, “Cuz he wanted to go let the devil use him.”
In response to a different fan who chastised her for failing to shield Asake from the devil rather than leaving, Mystique emphasized that the singer is a devout guy and that “the devil” was only a liar.
She wrote, “Chill, he’s very much a man [of] God. The devil is just a trickster nonetheless.”
