It’s no longer news that there has been a massive fuel scarcity after the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu stated at his inauguration that Fuel Subsidy is gone. Asiwaju who had said during his campaigns that no matter the protest, his administration will remove fuel subsidies. Asiwaju and his cronies have the perception that the Fuel subsidy is a fraud that does not contribute to the economy of the country. However, the timing of the removal has been questioned by Nigerians as it has brought unforeseen hardship on the people.
The Spokesperson of the Labour Party Obidatti Presidential campaign council, Kenneth Okonkwo has taunted the Asiwaju camp for not being able to hold an inauguration party as a result of the fuel scarcity. In a post which he shared on his official Twitter handle, He said, ”The presidential inauguration party is currently being held across all filling stations in the country. The turnout is very encouraging.”
