Tinubu Inaugurates 2027 Presidential Campaign Council as Wike, Adeleke, Soludo Make List

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is scheduled to inaugurate members of his 2027 presidential campaign council on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, as the All Progressives Congress (APC) steps up preparations for the 2027 general elections.

The inauguration is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja, according to a statement issued by APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, on Tuesday.

The development follows the party’s release of a revised membership list for the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu/APC 2027 Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), featuring prominent political figures, serving governors, federal lawmakers and former government officials.

Among those included in the updated list are Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike; Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke; Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo; and former Minister of Works, Babatunde Fashola.

The council also includes zonal campaign coordinators and co-coordinators across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones.

Further appointments were made to the council’s specialised directorates, including election planning, mobilisation and logistics.

Faleke will serve as Deputy Director-General of the Directorate of Election Planning, Coordination, Monitoring and Mobilisation. Stella Okotete was named Secretary I, while Abdullahi Garba Ramat will serve as Secretary II.

APC Restricts Attendance at Inauguration

In his statement announcing the revised list, Morka said the inauguration would take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 14, at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

He also clarified that attendance would be limited to the leadership of the various directorates of the presidential campaign council.

The inauguration marks a key organisational step for the APC as it prepares its campaign machinery for the 2027 presidential election, with Tinubu at the head of the council and Yari serving as Director-General.
