The revised APC Presidential Campaign Council list for the 2027 elections includes Nyesom Wike, Ademola Adeleke, Chukwuma Soludo, Sheriff Oborevwori and other prominent political figures, with President Bola Tinubu named as chairman.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has unveiled a revised Presidential Campaign Council list ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 general elections, naming Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike; Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke; Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo; and Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, among prominent political figures included in the campaign structure.
Also named in the list are former Lagos State Governor Babatunde Fashola and Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo.
According to the revised list made available to journalists on Tuesday, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will chair the campaign council, while Vice-President Kashim Shettima and APC National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, will serve as vice-chairmen.
Other vice-chairmen include Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas and Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
The appointments form part of the ruling party’s preparations for the 2027 presidential election, with the council structured to coordinate political mobilisation, campaign logistics, election planning and activities across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones.
Abdulaziz Yari Named Director-General of Tinubu’s 2027 Campaign Council
The revised APC campaign council list names Senator Abdulaziz Yari as Director-General, placing him at the centre of the party’s presidential campaign coordination.
Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni, Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele, Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin and Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Benjamin Kalu are listed among the deputy directors-general.
Former Edo State Governor and Senator Adams Oshiomhole will serve as Deputy Director-General in charge of Mobilisation.
Other key appointments include Femi Gbajabiamila, who will oversee administration, and Ibrahim Kabir Masari, who will coordinate logistics and operations.
Former Speaker of the House of Representatives Aminu Masari is listed as Deputy Director-General for Parliament Mobilisation, while Minister of Works David Umahi will oversee infrastructure mobilisation and sensitisation.
James Faleke has been assigned responsibilities covering election planning, coordination and monitoring.
Meanwhile, Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma will serve as secretary of the campaign council, supported by Senator Ajibola Basiru as deputy secretary and Hadiza Bala Usman as assistant secretary.
APC Names Campaign Coordinators Across Six Geopolitical Zones
As part of efforts to establish a nationwide campaign structure, the revised council includes zonal coordinators and co-coordinators responsible for overseeing political activities across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones.
The appointments are distributed as follows:

|---|---|
| South-South | Bassey Otu and Victor Giadom |

The zonal structure is expected to support campaign mobilisation, regional coordination and political engagement as preparations for the presidential election progress.
Wike, Adeleke, Soludo, Oborevwori Listed as State Campaign Coordinators
Among the notable features of the revised APC Presidential Campaign Council list is the inclusion of several governors and political leaders as state campaign coordinators.
According to the document, the following individuals have been assigned coordination responsibilities:
-

Akwa Ibom State — Umo Eno
-
Anambra State — Chukwuma Soludo

Zamfara State — Dauda Lawal
The inclusion of political figures associated with different parties is one of the most striking aspects of the revised list.
However, their appearance in the document does not, by itself, establish that they have accepted the appointments, endorsed Tinubu’s re-election campaign or changed their political affiliations.
Akande, Adamu, Amosun, Omisore Named Campaign Advisers
The campaign council also includes experienced political figures, former governors and party leaders who have been assigned advisory responsibilities.
Among those listed are former APC national chairmen Adebisi Akande and Abdullahi Adamu, former Ogun State Governor Ibikunle Amosun and former Osun State Governor Iyiola Omisore.
Others include Senator Ibrahim Dankwambo, Senator George Akume, former Ogun State Governor Segun Osoba and Wale Edun.
Obafemi George is listed as an adviser on media.
The advisory appointments bring together individuals with experience in party administration, government, political strategy and electoral mobilisation.
Faleke Leads Election Planning and Monitoring Directorate
The revised campaign structure also provides for a Directorate of Election Planning, Coordination, Monitoring and Mobilisation.
James Faleke is listed as Deputy Director-General of the directorate, with Stella Okotete and Engineer Abdullahi Garba Ramat serving as Secretary I and Secretary II, respectively.
Audu Maikori is also named as a secretary.
Other members of the directorate include Soares Omotola, Bashir Dabo, Sheriff Mohammed Usman, Jibrin Bancir, Ayoola Peter Olajolo, Abubakar Sadiq Sada and Princess Folasade Ogunbiyi.
The directorate forms part of the organisational framework established to manage election-related planning, coordination, monitoring and mobilisation ahead of the 2027 polls.
Masari Oversees APC Campaign Logistics and Operations
The Directorate of General Logistics and Operations will have Ibrahim Kabir Masari as Deputy Director-General.
Adeniyi Tinubu and Barrister Yakub Bashir Bello are listed as deputies, while Professor Kabiru Isa will serve as secretary.
Members of the directorate include Ekene Nwokoro Ogbonaya, Professor Vincent Weli, Ambassador Olusola Iji, Amina Bello, Ahmed Zibiri, Annabel Isenyo, Terrence Kuanum, Professor Latif Babatunde Ayeleru, Amarachi Ejike, Dr Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa and Professor Shuaibu Abdullahi.

The list also includes Makinde Peter Abiola, Chief Solomon Ogba, Senator Lawal Hassan Dan Iya, Ambassador Kelvin Peter, Maggadas Mohammed Muazu and Victor Agwu.
The logistics directorate is among the operational units included in the APC’s preparations for the nationwide presidential campaign.
Tinubu’s 2027 Campaign Council Signals Expanded Election Preparations
The revised Presidential Campaign Council list outlines an extensive organisational structure involving federal government officials, serving governors, lawmakers, former political officeholders and party stakeholders.
Its composition reflects the scale of the APC’s preparations ahead of the 2027 presidential election, with responsibilities allocated across campaign leadership, administration, mobilisation, logistics and election monitoring.
The inclusion of Wike, Adeleke, Soludo, Oborevwori and other prominent figures is likely to attract political attention, particularly regarding the extent of cooperation between political actors ahead of the elections.
While the document identifies the individuals and their proposed responsibilities, further confirmation would be required to establish whether all those named have formally accepted their roles.
The revised list nevertheless provides an indication of how the APC intends to organise its presidential campaign activities across the country as Nigeria approaches the 2027 general elections.
