APC Disputes Ganduje’s Suspension, Blames NNPP Affiliates

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has vehemently denounced the purported suspension of its National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, labeling the action as a calculated move of political persecution orchestrated by the ruling New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in Kano State.

In a statement issued by APC spokesman, Felix Morka, it was clarified that those responsible for Ganduje’s suspension are not bona fide members of the APC but rather individuals with affiliations to the NNPP.

Morka emphasized, “The suspension of Dr. Ganduje, orchestrated by elements linked to senior officials and representatives of the NNPP, is a flagrant abuse of due process and a clear case of political vendetta spearheaded by the administration of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.”

The statement further revealed that the APC has lodged a formal complaint with the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, urging for a swift and thorough investigation into the matter. The party demands that the perpetrators and their sponsors face the full consequences of their actions.

It was reported that on Monday, executives of the APC in Dawakin ward, Tofa LGA of Kano, purportedly suspended Ganduje on allegations of corruption. However, the APC has firmly contested the legitimacy of this suspension, asserting that it lacks credibility and is driven by ulterior motives.
