President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Sunday Dare, has commended Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani for declaring his willingness to take a bullet for the president, describing him as a loyal ally who is firmly standing behind the administration.
According to a report by Daily Post on Thursday, October 29, 2026, Dare praised the Kaduna governor for publicly highlighting what he considers Tinubu’s contributions to Kaduna State and the North-West region. He also encouraged other governors and political leaders to speak openly about the president’s achievements.
Dare reacted in a post on X after Sani appeared on Trust TV, where he was asked whether he would be willing to take a bullet for Tinubu.
Responding to the question, Sani said he was prepared to make such a sacrifice, explaining that his support for the president stemmed from the benefits he believed Tinubu’s administration had brought to Kaduna State, rather than any personal gain.
“I can take it, the favour he has done is not to me, it’s to the state, so for me, my interest is the interest of the state,” the governor stated.
Reacting to the governor’s remarks, Dare described Sani as a determined supporter of Tinubu who was unafraid to defend the president’s record publicly.
In his post, the presidential spokesman said the Kaduna governor was actively acknowledging Tinubu’s contributions to the state, the North-West and Nigeria as a whole.
“Gov. Uba Sani is on fire, he is not backing down; He is testifying about the good deeds of President Bola Tinubu for Kaduna, for the North West, for Nigeria; He is speaking up,” Dare wrote.
He subsequently urged other political officeholders to follow Sani’s example by communicating their views on the administration’s performance and highlighting what they consider its accomplishments.
“Let others in his capacity also speak up, let’s form that solid orchestra that speaks the truth about the works of President Tinubu,” he added.
Dare also interpreted Sani’s declaration as a reflection of strong personal conviction and confidence in Tinubu’s leadership. According to him, several individuals who have worked with the president or currently serve under his administration share a similar willingness to defend him.
“Governor Uba Sani says he is ready to take the bullet for Mr. President; That is a man of conviction; Many are ready to do the same for Mr. President,” he stated.
The presidential aide further defended Tinubu’s approach to governance, arguing that people familiar with the president’s leadership style believe he has the commitment and ability to promote development and strengthen Nigeria’s economy.
Dare said Tinubu’s determination to pursue economic growth and build a more resilient national economy remained among the reasons he continued to support the administration.
“Those of us that have worked for him before, those still serving Nigeria through him and also know him, believe in his capacity, passion for development and his unbending desire to build a resilient economy for Nigeria,” he said.

Reiterating his support for the president, Dare maintained that he and other loyalists would continue to defend Tinubu’s mandate despite the difficulties and controversies surrounding some of the administration’s policies.
“President Tinubu is walking the path less travelled and I, we, stand solidly on his mandate and will defend it,” he added.
The exchange underscores the ongoing efforts by Tinubu’s allies to promote the administration’s record and counter criticism of its leadership as political discussions and activities gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections.
